Music Production Refund & Cancellation Policy
This Policy applies to paid music production services provided by TasteTune, operated by Remefor Group.
Submitting an inquiry, consultation request, or form does not by itself create a contract or payment obligation.
1. Formal Order and Start of Production
- A formal order is processed after both parties confirm the production scope, fees, payment terms, schedule, license conditions, and other necessary terms.
- Standard payment terms are generally 50% (US$600 of US$1,200) before production begins and the remaining 50% (US$600) after final approval and before formal delivery.
- A 40% / 30% / 30% three-payment arrangement may be used only where separately agreed.
- If Priority Production is selected, the Priority fee of US$350 (Standard plus Priority total: US$1,550) is due in full with the first payment.
- TasteTune may pause progression to the next production stage while a payment due for the current stage remains unpaid.
2. Cancellation Before Formal Order / First Payment
You may end the consultation without charge before the formal order is completed or before the first payment is made.
3. Cancellation After First Payment but Before Production Begins
- Once the formal order is completed and the first 50% payment has been made, the first payment is generally non-refundable for client-convenience cancellations because TasteTune proceeds on the basis that production capacity, research, and production preparation will be secured.
- For the Standard fee of US$1,200, the first 50% payment is US$600.
- This does not apply where a refund is required by applicable law, where TasteTune is unable to provide the agreed service for reasons attributable to TasteTune, or where this Policy otherwise provides for a refund.
4. Cancellation After Production Begins
- If you cancel for your own convenience after production has begun, the first 50% payment is generally non-refundable.
- Any remaining amount that has not yet become due will generally not be charged.
- If the parties have expressly agreed to different payment terms or production stages, that individual agreement will take priority.
- This does not apply where a refund is required by applicable law or where TasteTune is unable to provide the agreed service for reasons attributable to TasteTune.
5. Priority Production Fee
- The Priority Production fee of US$350 is generally non-refundable for client-convenience cancellations because Priority capacity and priority handling preparation begin once payment is completed.
- This does not apply where a refund is required by applicable law or where TasteTune is unable to provide the Priority service for reasons attributable to TasteTune.
6. After Final Approval / Delivery
- Once final approval has been given, cancellation for the client’s convenience is no longer available.
- Due to the nature of custom digital production, returns or refunds after formal delivery are generally not available for client-convenience reasons.
- Subjective reasons such as personal preference or a different impression are not, by themselves, grounds for a refund where the delivered work materially conforms to the agreed scope.
7. Feedback and Post-Delivery Support
- The Standard production fee includes two rounds of feedback after main production.
- TasteTune provides 30 days of post-delivery support relating to use of the delivered work.
- If there is a delivery mistake, corrupted file, clear mismatch with the agreed delivery, or another clear error attributable to TasteTune, TasteTune will review the issue and provide an appropriate correction, replacement delivery, or other remedy.
8. Inability to Perform / Material Defect Attributable to TasteTune
- TasteTune will make reasonable efforts to provide the agreed service, including correction, reproduction, re-delivery, or other appropriate remedial action where possible.
- If part of the agreed service cannot be provided, TasteTune will not charge any unpaid remaining amount attributable to that unprovided portion. If the amount already paid includes consideration for an unprovided portion, TasteTune will refund the corresponding amount.
- If the principal part or all of the service cannot be provided, TasteTune will refund all amounts paid.
- The specific refund amount will be determined reasonably based on the agreed production scope, services actually provided, services not provided, and other relevant circumstances.
- Where applicable law requires a different remedy, applicable law will govern.
9. Refund Method
- Approved refunds will generally be made through the original payment method.
- Refund processing by Stripe, card issuers, or financial institutions may take time.
- Due to exchange-rate movements or fees imposed by card issuers or financial institutions, the amount ultimately credited may differ from the original amount paid.
